Honda Philippines Inc., together with Propmech Corp., has officially launched the Honda BF350 in the country. This marks the arrival of Honda’s flagship outboard engine, bringing the brand’s expertise in performance and reliability to the marine world.
While Honda is widely recognized for its cars and motorcycles, the company has also been a trailblazer in four-stroke outboard motors. The BF350 takes this legacy further, packing a powerful V8 engine designed for longer, smoother trips on the water.
What sets the BF350 apart is its smart fuel management system, along with Honda’s VTEC and BLAST technology, which help maximize efficiency and acceleration. Whether for private boat owners or commercial operators, this engine is built for both power and reliability.
Honda also made sure the BF350 looks as good as it performs. It features a sleek, streamlined design with chrome-plated trim, plus ergonomic controls for ease of use. To top it off, its 60° offset crankshaft helps keep vibration and noise to a minimum, ensuring a more comfortable ride.
“Honda Philippines’ partnership with Propmech Corp. began over a decade ago with a distributorship agreement, and since then, we have delivered close to 1,000 outboard engines to the commercial market and key government agencies such as the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Philippine National Police,” Sayaka Arai, Honda Philippines Inc. president, said.
“Today, we introduce Honda’s first V8 outboard motor, the BF350, which embodies our commitment to power, efficiency, and innovation.” Glenn Tong, Propmech Corp. president, said.
“Honda and Propmech have built a strong partnership to deliver reliable marine solutions to the Philippine market.”
“The BF350 provides advanced marine technology suited for the country’s waters and climate, ensuring performance and value for vessel owners.”
During the launch, Honda Philippines Inc. and Propmech Corp. discussed their long-term commitment to delivering high-quality marine solutions in the Philippines.
Attendees also rode the sports cruiser equipped with the BF350 V8 engine and experienced its groundbreaking features, power and innovation firsthand.
