A Multipurpose Attack Craft (MPAC) of Philippine-based shipbuilder Propmech Vessels is showcased in Zambales on Thursday.

MPAC is a 15-meter-long armored patrol boat that can reach 45 knots at maximum speed.
Propmech Vessels, a local shipbuilding company, hopes to get a chance to prove themselves in the local scene by supplying Filipino-made vessels to the Philippine Navy, especially amid the tensions with China in the West Philippine Sea.

The company claims their vessels can compete with other international ship builders that are accustomed to the needs of the Philippine National Defense
